‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Mackenzie McKee Gets a Tattoo Tribute for Her Mom Amid Cancer Battle

Such a sweet gesture! Teen Mom 3 alum Mackenzie McKee isn’t letting her new gig as Farrah Abraham’s replacement on Teen Mom OG distract her from what’s really important — being there for her mother Angie Douthit as she battles brain and lung cancer. The reality star and her family members surprised Angie by paying tribute to her with a tattoo, and Angie took to social media to gush about it.
“I’ve never wanted a tattoo, although they don’t bother me. So when my daughters (Kaylee can’t get one while she’s pregnant) approached me about getting one I just told them it should have a great meaning. They asked me to write, ‘Always Be Kind’ on paper so it would be in my handwriting and away they went,” Angie wrote on Instagram. She said she thought they were going to add a cancer ribbon at the end of the tattoo, but they decided not to and Angie is glad they did because she didn’t want to be remembered for her cancer.
